If you’ve been to Costco lately, you’ve noticed that things aren’t what they used to be. So to deal with this current reality I put together a Costco COVID-19 Shopping Tips list.

Costco COVID-19 Shopping Tips List

  • Visit as late in the day as possible –  The line-up at Costco can easily be an hour or more. Nobody likes waiting in line, especially if the weather is bad. A security guard told me that mornings are the worst times to go. Evenings typically see the shortest line-ups. Therefore, try going around 6-7 pm on weeknights as most Costcos close at 8:30 pm on a weeknight. You may still have to wait, but at least your wait will be be shorter.
  • Use a shopping list – If you know what you are looking for, chances are you will find it much faster AND be less likely to forget something. I love Costco, but I really don’t want to be there any longer than I have to be. I use the Notes app on my iPhone to create a shopping list. That way, I always have my shopping list, and it’s super easy to add items to it during throughout the week.
  • Research the deals before going – I love me them deals, but it takes time to find them. 🙁 CocoWest and CocoEast  publish the weekly advertised/unadvertised sales in Canada. Visiting CocoWest before I go to Costco helps me speed up my visit, save a few bucks, and lets me see any new price reductions for things I recently purchased. This is how I found out about the Adidas sneaker price reduction. Had I not visited CocoWest, I most likely would have missed the reduction and not claimed it. Thanks CocoWest! 🙂
