Flu shot clinics are now open across most of Canada. Demand is particularly high this year. In fact, many pharmacies in Alberta(where I live) are fully booked for the next 2-3 weeks. Therefore, if you want to get your flu shot faster, try walking-in. My Costco Flu Shot Review is below.
Did you know that the Costco Pharmacy can also administer flu shots? Appointments can be booked online through Costco’s website by clicking here. Just select your province and your warehouse. If you find that bookings are full like I did, you may want to try simply walking in. My advice is to try visiting Costco during a less busy time(if such a time even exists.) :0
Costco Flu Shot Review
I received my shot yesterday. Fortunately, I had a day off of work and I was able to go in the morning. Since the pharmacy wasn’t busy, I quickly filled out a form and received my about 15 minutes later. After the shot, the pharmacist recommended that I stick around for an additional 10-15 minutes in case of an adverse reaction. I ended up just walking around the store to kill some time. Overall, everything went smoothly, and from start to finish took about 30 minutes. Oh and last but not least, the flu shot is free.
