The winter in Kamloops, British Columbia like anywhere else in Canada might get some people down. Yes, it can be hard to enjoy the occasional cold snap of weather, but you know what??? Sometimes you just have to embrace it. Just like a horrible, yet unavoidable relationship, you have to say, “Winter, you don’t like me and I don’t like you, but we have to make this work. Now let’s hug it out.” Now put Winter into a bear hug and squeeze, squeeze, and then squeeze some more. Guess what happens? Harper Mountain Tubing Fun happens, dude!
Harper Mountain is only a 30 minute drive from Kamloops and in addition to tubing, features many other fun winter and summer activities. Tubing is fun because it’s just like sledding, minus the hard work of constantly climbing a hill. In fact, you don’t even need any special equipment as Harper Mountain provides the tube.
Harper Mountain Tubing Fun Process
Once you select your tube (Hint: Red colored tubes are the fastest.) One of the friendly staff will attach the strap connected to the tube to the tow rope. From there, you will find yourself magically being pulled up the mountain while you sit back and relax. At the top, another staff member will give you a push, and even a spin if you so desire. Now that’s what I call service!

Tubing costs $16.00 taxes included for 2 hours. Sure, Harper Mountain Tubing may cost a bit more than a movie, but it’s way more fun and you’ll even get a bit of exercise! Get out there, enjoy the fresh air, take in the beautiful scenery, and let gravity caress you down the hill in a somewhat uncontrolled, yet relatively safe manner.
Looks like fun. I wonder how many people will go because of your write up?
I conservatively predict 1,000,000.
